Tarte Thinning Scissors are special because they are what is called a bevel edge thinner, which means they will leave a much cleaner cut that helps to protect the hair and have a super smooth feel to them compared to traditional thinners. While the teeth may look aggressive they actually a lot softer than they look. They are great for speeding up your cutting while thinning, texturizing, and blending, saving you both time, and strain on your wrists.
TOOL CARE
- Clean teeth after each use with alcohol wipe or peroxide. Scissors can be sanitized in an autoclave or barbicide.
- After cleaning, don’t forget to apply Scissor oil to the blades.

Really sharp and cut beautifully! I’ve literally cut myself (bloody!) like three times, the blades are SO SHARP!! But if you think about it, it’s really hard to sharpen these types of blades so I hope to keep them intact for years to come!
